The Delta 5 is the next step in a long line of remarkably reliable, durable, and smooth-breathing regulators bearing this name. Like the Deltas before it, the 5 comes standard with the patented Dynamic Adjustment Technology, which, once adjusted by the diver, provides consistent airflow at any depth. They also come standard with a dive/pre-dive switch and a super-comfortable orthodontic mouthpiece. However, this latest edition features an updated all-metal pneumatic valve, providing super-smooth breathing performance in all conditions. A heat exchanger has also been added, positioned at the hose connection to the second stage, to further enhance the already excellent cold-water performance.
The Delta 5 is paired with the new eDX. This top-of-the-line, cold-forged, overbalanced diaphragm first stage is environmentally sealed and features four low-pressure and two high-pressure ports. It is also equipped with a heat exchanger for additional cold water capacity.
