. Its durable, chrome-plated marine brass valve provides a phenomenal breathing experience, improves cold-water performance, and helps circulate moisture from exhalation to prevent dry mouth. The breathing adjustment gives the diver a wide range of control to precisely adjust airflow throughout the dive.
The ZEO comes standard with an inline hose swivel, inhalation effort control, a dive/pre-dive switch with dynamic adjustment technology, and a super-comfortable orthodontic mouthpiece with an inline ball swivel at the hose connection to eliminate the binding that can cause jaw fatigue.
The FDX-i's cold-forged, overbalanced, diaphragm first stage is sealed against environmental influences. The inline design limits the pressure drop inherent in "L"-type first stage designs, making the FDX-i more efficient and lightweight due to its compact form factor.
ZEO Second Stage
The pneumatically balanced second stage automatically maintains a constant inhalation effort throughout the dive.
