MORE SAFETY THROUGH BACKUP BUOYANCY
The xDEEP STEALTH 2.0 REC with a redundant bladder. Those who undertake demanding dives in a neoprene wetsuit often miss the alternative buoyancy solution in case the primary buoyancy device fails. For this reason, the xDEEP STEALTH REC Sidemount RB (redundant bladder) with a second inner bladder is now available. Should the inner bladder malfunction during a dive, such as a puncture or a broken inflator, the STEALTH 2.0 REC RB now offers a fully functional alternative 19-liter inner bladder with an inflator and a second quick-release valve.
CREATED IN THE CAVE - PERFECTED FOR RECREATIONAL DIVING
Sidemount diving has long since ceased to be a fringe activity. Many divers have now come to appreciate and love the benefits of sidemount diving, and more and more recreational divers are switching to sidemount buoyancy compensators due to the flexibility and added safety. xDEEP has developed the STEALTH 2.0 REC (Recreational) Sidemount System for this target group. With 13 liters of buoyancy, it has enough reserves for two tanks, and thanks to the new STEALTH 2.0 QR (Quick Release) harness with Fastex buckles, it can be put on and taken off in seconds.
THE STEALTH 2.0 REC SIDEMOUNT SYSTEM
More freedom on the reef and in wrecks. The xDEEP STEALTH 2.0 REC is the perfect companion for all recreational divers who enjoy more freedom and want to advance to the next level. With sidemount, the cylinders are carried on the side rather than the cumbersome back. Ideally, they are only put on in the water and are therefore extremely lightweight. The diver's direct access to valves, regulator, and inflator also increases safety enormously. This all contributes to enjoying every dive in complete relaxation.
THE REC WING - EXTREMELY ROBUST AND DURABLE
Even if you don't have to squeeze through tight passages while cave diving, your diving equipment also suffers during recreational diving. Whether it's a rough boat ride to the dive spot, challenging shore entry, or even just transport, your gear has to be able to take a beating. For this reason, we've made the affected areas of the REC Wing even more resilient. The streamlined shape is also important. When diving, the REC Wing hugs your body tightly without constricting you. This makes it easier to navigate the wreck without coming into contact with sharp objects. xDEEP used the same high-quality materials for the REC as for the STEALTH 2.0 CLASSIC or TEC. There are no compromises in the workmanship of the STEALTH 2.0 REC either.
BETTER OPERATION - THE DIVER TAKES CONTROL
On many sidemount systems, the dump valve is located on the side of the buoyancy aid. This forces the diver to use either their right or left hand to open the valve. On the xDEEP STEALTH 2.0 REC, the quick dump valve is located in the center of the bottom. This allows the diver to decide which hand to use to operate the valve, not the sidemount BCD. Perhaps you've ever wondered why the inflator on conventional diving jackets always has to come from the left side? Perhaps you'd prefer to operate it with your right hand? With the xDEEP STEALTH 2.0 REC Sidemount, you can mount the inflator on the left or right side. This allows you to perfectly adapt to your individual needs and the prevailing conditions.
BETTER OPERATION - THE DIVER TAKES CONTROL
THE XDEEP STEALTH 2.0 REC HARNESS - ULTIMATE FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT
The heart of every xDEEP sidemount system is the STEALTH 2.0 harness. Quick adjustability and ultimate freedom of movement were the requirements during development. We use straps of varying hardness and softness for diver comfort. The best materials from the USA and Germany ensure durability. We have further developed and optimized the STEALTH 2.0 REC harness specifically for recreational divers: two Fastex quick-release buckles ensure easy donning and doffing – even with thick gloves. To ensure truly unlimited flexibility, divers can equip their STEALTH 2.0 harness with various solutions for loading weights. Optional weight pockets for the waist belt increase safety and ergonomics during dives. Trim weight pockets in two different sizes ensure the perfect position in the water. Sidemount pockets provide storage for a buoy, compass, or slate.
INTEGRATED WEIGHT SYSTEM: INGENIOUS, SIMPLE & FLEXIBLE
Correctly loading a sidemount system with weight has, until now, sometimes been a truly nerve-wracking challenge. Only soft weight available? Where do you put all that weight when diving drysuits? Do you need 8, 10, or even 12 kilograms? No problem for the xDEEP STEALTH 2.0! The unique STEALTH 2.0 weight system solves this problem completely and in one fell swoop: Open the Velcro fastener - insert the weight in the desired position - close the Velcro fastener - done! It couldn't be easier. Up to a maximum of 12 kilograms of soft or hard weight fits into the STEALTH 2.0 weight system (size L) alone, which then sits exactly where it should ideally be, along the spine. The weight pocket can be moved along the central axis within minutes to achieve the perfect trim underwater. It's also possible to completely swap it out for a larger or smaller central weight pocket at any time. The central weight system is available in three different sizes and thus defines the size of the entire xDEEP STEALTH 2.0 system.
Available in sizes S (2 x 1.5 kg), M (4 x 1.5 kg), L (8 x 1.5 kg), or W (4 x 2.5 kg)
