Like all Schbuforce wings, the Black Devil 60 Retraction leaves nothing to be desired in terms of quality and functionality. The retraction bands made of high-quality silicone elastomer (bungees) offer several advantages. First, they prevent unnecessary air movement, which is common when unlaced wings change position. The bungees support deflation, but due to the material used, do not prevent oral inflation, either above or below water. Typically, the wing is laced with the bungees to a width smaller than the diver's shoulders. This not only reduces water resistance but also the risk of snagging. By adding or removing bungees, the diver can influence both the horizontal and vertical trim. Thanks to the bungees, the Scubaforce Black Devil Wing is also ideal for sidemount use (toddy style). It can even be used with single-stage rebreathers. Double-stage rebreathers from D7 to D18 are also no problem. Of course, the Black Devil Wing can also be dived without bungees, although the flatlock bungee attachment is so minimal that it's only noticeable upon close inspection. The quick release is located at the optimal height on the left side of the wing, allowing the diver to find it quickly in an emergency.
