xDEEP HYDROS 40 DIR Complete Set
The perfect double cylinder set, newly developed for the ambitious diver. Anyone looking for a robust and versatile wing set for their next diving adventure will find the xDEEP HYDROS perfectly suited. The xDEEP HYDROS is available in two sizes and can be equipped with an aluminum backplate or a stainless steel backplate, depending on your needs. The xDEEP HYDROS bladder consists of a double shell made of 1100DTex Cordura for the outer shell and 440 PU-coated nylon for the inner bladder.
"Blind spots" where air can accumulate, increasing drag and affecting buoyancy, have been eliminated. An improved design in the upper section of the wing ensures easy access to your valves. Perfect trim is easier than ever with this wing, whether you're a beginner in technical diving or have already completed hundreds of decompression dives and want the safety and comfort of the best possible system.
Achieving good trim and a stable position in the water is often the most difficult task for a novice technical diver. An experienced technical diver uses their equipment as a support rather than being overwhelmed by it. HYDROS is designed to perfectly match the wing's buoyancy with the center of gravity of the gas in your twin set. Regardless of the wing's inflation or remaining tank pressure, the system trim remains unchanged throughout the dive.
Valve closure and valve management have been improved by reducing the volume of the wing in the valve area and where your hoses run. This makes it easier to route the hoses neatly along the system while keeping the valves easily accessible. A quick-release valve at the bottom of the xDEEP HYDROS Wing allows for easy and controlled air release, allowing for a slow ascent even in a horizontal position.
The K-Type inflator head is state-of-the-art. The diagonal (K-Type) air release not only promotes rapid airflow when the release button is pressed, but also makes it easier to fill the bladder via the mouth.
Only the best materials were used for the xDEEP DIR Harness. The abdominal and shoulder straps are made of stiff nylon-polyamide, making it easier to put on and take off.
The crotch strap, in turn, is made of slightly softer webbing for overall comfort.
All D-rings, buckles, and triple bars are made of stainless steel.
The xDEEP backplate is available in either stainless steel (approx. 2.7 kg) or aluminum (approx. 1.3 kg). All holes and slots are laser-milled and deburred. This makes the webbing last even longer.
