xDEEP STEALTH 2.0 REC - Sidemount Wing Bladder
The xDEEP stealth 2.0 REC Sidemount Wing Bladder is the new flagship from xDEEP. With a 13 kg buoyancy capacity, it is suitable for sidemount use with both aluminum and steel cylinders. The xDEEP stealth 2.0 REC Sidemount Bladder features a unique cut, making it ideal for use underwater.
The bladder is secured via the shoulder straps at the top. This ensures that the bladder always fits snugly against the back, preventing any gaps from forming between the bladder and the back. The back and inner bladder are protected by Cordura 1200 fiber and a protector plate. This makes it ideal for use in wrecks and caves.
The inner bladder itself is made of 440dTEX nylon, an extremely robust membrane fabric. With 13kg buoyancy, the bladder offers sufficient buoyancy volume for the use of 2 x 12-litre steel bottles (manufacturer's instructions must be observed).
The xDEEP stealth 2.0 REC sidemount bladder features a diamond cut design. This means it has a conical shape from top to bottom. This positively influences comfort and trim characteristics underwater. As with the xDEEP stealth 2.0 CLASSIC and xDEEP stealth 2.0 TEC, the sides are held together in front of the belly with a bungee. This ensures that the sidemount system sits snugly against the body at any depth and in any body position without restricting freedom of movement.
Just like its big brother, the xDEEP stealth 2.0 TEC, the inflator hose on the xDEEP stealth 2.0 REC can be switched from the left to the right side. With the central positioning of the dump valve, xDEEP has already revolutionized the diving scene with the xDEEP stealth 2.0 CLASSIC sidemount system. The main advantage of positioning the quick release at coccyx level, compared to a lateral position, is that it is almost always at the highest point (assuming streamlined diving behavior). Second, the pressure relief valve can be easily reached by both the left and right hand. This provides even greater safety and prevents diving accidents.
